Sign Up for Free Coding Summer Camps at Apple Stores

My kids are really into computers. (Imagine that with a Mom who owns a website and an IT manager Dad). So happily for us (and you!) summer brings  Apple Camp for FREE!

Free Coding Summer Camps

Hosted at Apple retail stores for kids ages 8 to 12, participants get to use Macs, iPads and more fun Apple tech gadgets. In the past there have been camps focused on movie making. Kids could learn to make their own movies from start to finish using iMovie and Garageband. Alternatively, they were able to create their own interactive books using iPads to create their own words and pictures and then iBooks Author to add sound and special effects.

The 2019 sessions and topics have not been released, but there should be three tracks to choose from. Each camp will meet for 90 minute sessions for three days. Parents have to stay in the store while your child is in camp, so be prepared and bring a book. You can sign up HERE to be notified when the program opens for this summer.

Camps will be offered at both the Apple Store at Green Hills Mall and the Apple Store at Cool Springs Galleria. The program fills up FAST so don’t wait to sign up once it is announced.
