It’s summertime and that means it’s time for Middle Tennessee County Fairs! There are lots of options all over the area. I’m sure there is at least one close to you.
Make plans to see animals, ride the rides and don’t forget the food! My reigning favorite is Fried Coke, but I’m hoping that these new French Toast Bacon Bombs make it to Middle Tennessee.
In terms of attendance, the Wilson County Fair is at the top of the list. It gets 4 times the number of attendees of the Tennessee State Fair. Due to it’s huge attendance, the Tennessee State Fair is joining the Wilson County Fair to present one event this year. The Williamson County Fair ranks second in total attendance. But the best fair is the one YOU love.
Maybe you are not a crowd loving person? Maybe you want to celebrate the awesomeness of your local area? In that case, the county fair closest to you will be a great day of family fun.
But if you can’t get enough of people, rides, and dozens of fried food choices, then absolutely make a trip to one of the bigger fairs. Either way, the fair can become a great family tradition for summer fun.
