Gaylord Opryland is known far and wide for it’s annual Christmas celebration, and this year, it is bringing that same magic to other seasons and holidays. Come spend a day celebrating Spring and Easter with “Once Upon a Spring,” where your family can spend a full day enjoying the events and activities at the hotel.

Paint Me a Fairytale
Go on an interactive story time adventure with Mother Goose in this musical production for all ages.
My kids are 10 and 16, so I thought they might be too old to enjoy the show, but they laughed throughout the creative re-tellings of Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and The Beanstalk, and The Princess and The Pea.
Be sure to pay attention so you don’t miss Bitey the Squirrel, who was a new to us character who stole the show.

Art Studio
Paint a masterpiece with Painting with a Twist. Your family can choose one of a dozen designs that are sketched with pencil on canvas.
Alternatively, pick one of hundreds of designs and make it your own. There are easy to follow instructions so even if you don’t feel like an artist, you can create something to be proud of.

- Anyone entering will be required to purchase a painting.
- Canvas, paint brushes and apron are provided.
- Instructions will be provided along with an on-site artist to help bring your art to life.
- The time noted is the opening time. You may visit at your leisure between 12pm-4pm.
- Event will take place at Ravello.
Spring-A-Long Scavenger Hunt
Once you complete the hunt, bring the completed booklet back to the dock for a prize.

Sunshine and Sprinkles Cookie Decorating
Decorate cookies at the Water’s Edge Kids Zone area.
There is the choice of vanilla and chocolate cookies. Both come with icing and several types of sprinkles and candies to make the cookies your own.

Delta Boat EGG-stra Fun Indoor Cruise
If you have taken a ride on the Delta river boat, enjoy a new experience with the EGG-stra fun cruise. Learn about the Delta’s history and spring flora along with fun facts about Easter. Count the Easter Eggs as you cruise and see if you can find them all. (Thursdays-Sundays, March 12 – April 4 only)

Meet and Greet the Easter Bunny
The Easter Bunny is ready to visit with you and your family. If you go in the evening, the set up for pictures has twinkle light eggs, for a unique photo. Photo packages by DEI are available. (Thursdays-Sundays, March 12 – April 4 only)

Hydrobeats Delta Atrium Fountain Show
The fountain show happens nightly in the Delta atrium. My family is always entranced by the musical dancing fountains and light show.
This one showcases popular music from several decades. It is popular, so arrive a few minutes early so you get a good seat to watch the show. It lasts about 15 minutes.
Wildlife Rescue Experience presented by bubly™
This experience is fun for all ages. I think I actually had as much fun doing this as my 10 year old daughter.
Find one of these signs and use the QR code to download the free wildlife rescue app. You can also use the links below:
Then follow the map inside the app to find and rescue the animals. Find the yellow spots on the ground and take a photo of them with the app.
It will then allow you to see the animal.
You can take photos of the animals alone or with your friends and family.
