Nashville Shores is one of the most popular destinations for summer family fun in Middle Tennessee. My kids love the water slides and the wave pool but I’m happiest when floating around the lazy river. (Note to moms and dads of littles – I know you can’t even imagine what it’s like to float around at a water park while your kids enjoy themselves in other parts of the park. But trust me, that day is coming…and it is glorious!)
Depending on the age of my kids and the amount of camps, vacations, etc that we had scheduled, we have never missed at least one summer trip to Nashville Shores. Some years we had season passes and others we planned a day there to coincide with a special event, maybe the fireworks show or a dive in movie.
Second Annual Kids Fest is Full of Extra Fun!

Plus there will be a super science show, rolling video games and costume characters!
“The inaugural Kid’s Fest was a great success, an we hope Middle Tennessee parents and their children will come out to experience this great event,” said Daniel Strobel, Director of Marketing. “We have added extra entertainment and activities this year at Kid’s Fest to provide even more family fun at the park.”
