Jefferson Springs Recreation Area

Relax and have fun by the water at Jefferson Springs Recreation Area. Located on the Stone’s River, this recreation area is a beautiful place for picnics, fishing and fun!

One of the best parts things about Jefferson Springs is the abundance of trees. There is so much shade! And anyone who lives here knows that shade is very important especially during the summer months. Patio tables are available but I think a picnic on the ground would be perfect at Jefferson Springs. There’s tons of room for the kids to run and play while mom and dad watch and relax.

Jefferson Springs features a large group shelter that can be reserved in advance for events. Information on renting the large shelter can be found HERE.

Jefferson Springs Recreation Area offers a boat ramp and ample parking for visitors. There is also a restroom facility. Pack the kids, a picnic, and a frisbee or ball and have some family fun between April and September at Jefferson Springs.
