Picnic with the Library

April 30, 2023 @ 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM

$250

The 8th annual Picnic with the Library event, hosted by the Nashville Public Library Foundation (NPLF), will take place on Sunday, April 30. Co-chaired by Amy and Julian Bryant, Kelsey and Robert Finger, and Sara and Jeremy Garner, the Picnic will be themed around Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, showcasing the wonderful, imaginative world full of candy, treats, and of course, chocolate, bringing a delicious display of literature to life for children of all ages.

Attracting more than 200 families annually, Picnic with the Library features family-friendly activities including puppet shows, musical performances, crafts, face painting, photo booths, and more. Funds raised support Nashville Public Library’s Wishing Chair Productions, story times, Puppet Truck, and early literacy initiatives reaching more than 100,000 children and their families each year. Nashville Public Library’s Puppet Truck brings stories to life through music, songs, and puppetry. We are thrilled to give away an exclusive opportunity for a private Puppet Truck performance at the upcoming event of your choice. The Puppet Truck cannot be reserved any other way, so do not miss this opportunity!
