It’s game day at Nashville Zoo! Get ready for an un-fur-gettable day as we team up with Nashville Humane Association for the Music City Puppy Bowl. Adoptable puppies will hit the field for the big game that will feature tail-wagging touchdowns and the chance to welcome a new furry friend into your home!

Enjoy good tunes, learn more about the Nashville Humane Association, visit with local pet friendly businesses, and witness the cutest game in town! This event is included with general admission or membership. Advance timed-entry reservations are required for all guests, including members.

Music City Puppy Bowl takes place at Festival Field from 10 am – 2 pm with a noon game kickoff! Our two adorable teams will battle it out on the turf to see who reaches their end zone enough times to take home the 2024 trophy. Partners will be on-site throughout the afternoon talking about local pet-friendly activities, local adoption opportunities, and the importance of spay & neutering. Guests will be able to meet our adoptable 2024 athletes and learn more about the other adoptable pets available at the Nashville Humane Association headquarters.

Nashville Zoo does not allow on-site pets; only service animals will be permitted to accompany their humans to this event. Additionally, pets are not permitted to be left in vehicles within our parking lot. Read more about our service animal policy. Any adopted athletes will be arranged to be picked up from the Nashville Humane Association by 2 pm in the Zoo parking lot and their new families will get to leave with a care package courtesy of Nashville Zoo and our generous community partners. 

Meet Doug the Pug

The king of pop culture, Doug the Pug, will be doing the ceremonial coin toss before the puppies hit the field! During the day, guests can meet and greet with Doug and learn more about his non-profit work and line of products!
