Join Ranger Blackwell as he leads you to building confidence and problem solving skills while doing a fun outdoor activity. 

Long Hunter State Park’s Alpine Tower is a 50’ tall, self-supporting structure that provides unique challenges and experiences. As you look at the tower it can seem intimidating, but as you climb, you not only overcome physical obstacles but also face personal fears and emerge with confidence and assurance realizing that you can do more than you thought possible. 

This program is geared to all individuals and homeschool families that are interesting in climbing an alpine tower but may not be able to get a group toether for the group rate. If you are interesting in introducing this as a group activity and want to try it out first, this is also an opportunity to see what it is all about.

All climbers must be at least 10 years old. A $10 fee is for participants. Parents, guardians, and nonclimbing siblings and friends are free. All climbers or guardians must sign a waiver on the day of the event to climb.
