Cheatham County Veterans Day Parade, Cancelled for 2020

Hendersonville Veterans Day Parade, November 8, 2020 starts at 2 PM
Come out and celebrate Veterans from all conflicts with a parade in Hendersonville. The route will follow the traditional Hendersonville parade route, starting at Cherokee Rd. and move along Main to Executive Park Dr.
Lebanon Veterans Day Parade, November 11, 2020
The parade begins at the Lebanon/Wilson County Library and continues to the Veterans Plaza on East Main Street. This year, it will be a driving parade, rather than the traditional walk. A celebration at the Veterans Plaza will follow at 11 AM.
Montgomery County Veterans Day Parade, November 7, 2020 at 10 AM
The Parade will begin at 10 a.m. at the corner of N. Eighth and College Streets, next to the Sundquist Science Building at Austin Peay State University, with the reviewing stand at the Third Street side of the courthouse. The parade will proceed from College left onto University Avenue, right onto Main Street, left onto 3rdStreet, left onto Commerce Street, left onto University Avenue, right onto Franklin Street, left onto 8th Street and back to the APSU parking area. City of Nolensville Parade and Breakfast, Cancelled for 2020
The parade and breakfast have been cancelled for 2020, however, traditionally, the parade route begins on Oldham Drive, right on Dortch, right on Stonebrook, left onto Nolensville Road to Nolensville Park.
Fallen Soldiers 32 Mile March, 2020 Traditional March is cancelled
This year, the Fallen Soldiers March will not be holding their traditional march from Nashville to Lebanon. Instead, they encourage the public to choose their own march and location and make an effort to honor our Veterans. Click here for more details.
City of Gallatin Veterans Day Parade, November 7, 2020 at 11 AM

Veterans Day Ceremony in La Vergne, November 11, 2020 at 11 AM
The annual ceremony, held at Veterans Memorial Park’s memorial wall, is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on November 11. There will be three speakers, including Sal Gonzalez, Tina Veith and Paul Williams. There will be a 21 gun salute and then Brenda Lane will play taps. Click here for more details.

Nashville Veteran’s Day Parade, 2020 Parade cancelled
The 2020 parade has been cancelled. Starting at 14th Avenue, the parade will process down Broadway to 3rd Avenue. Be sure to get there early to get a great seat!
Franklin Veterans Parade, November 11, 2020 starts at 11 AM
This year the City of Franklin is planning a “reverse” parade to celebrate and honor veterans. The parade, scheduled for Veterans Day (November 11th) at 11 a.m., will take place at the Park at Harlinsdale Farm. Veterans will line the road inside the park while the community drives by and shows their appreciation. Click here for more details.

- Applebee’s – Veterans and active duty military receive a free meal on November 11, 2020.
- Mission BBQ – Veterans eat free on November 11 includes a sandwich and cake.
- Cracker Barrel – Veterans get a complimentary slice of Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola Cake or a Crafted Coffee on November 11.
- Golden Corral – Military retirees, veterans, active duty, National Guard and Reservists can all receive a free dinner on November 11, 2019, from 5 PM to 9 PM.
- Chili’s – Veterans can choose a free meal from a special menu on November 11th.
- Red Robin – On November 11th veterans can get a free tavern double burger with bottomless steak fries.

Field of Honor at The Hermitage, November 5 – 14, 2020

Military Appreciation Day at the Nashville Zoo (Map) Sunday, November 8, 2020, 9 AM to 4 PM
Nashville Zoo and Regions Bank invite active military personnel, military veterans and their immediate families to receive free admission during Military Appreciation Day on Sunday, November 10.
Military Appreciation Day is offered in gratitude for the commitment, bravery and sacrifices made by those who serve our country.
The Grassmere Historic Home will be open to visitors on this day. A collection of military items will be on display downstairs and on the back porch of the house. Additionally, there will be military-oriented vendor booths located by the Zoo’s amphitheater.
Visitors must show their military ID, veteran organization ID, discharge papers or other official military identification to be given free admission. Dependents must be accompanied by an active duty military personnel or veteran to receive the discounted admission. Please note: The normal parking fee per vehicle will still apply.– Nashvillezoo.org
