Music City lives up to it’s name in the summer. There are so many concerts in and around Nashville. Some of these events are one time performances but many of them are concert series that have become summertime traditions. The Nashville Symphony’s Community concerts are a ‘must do’ for most Nashvillians. But don’t forget about Dragon Music Sundays, Music in the Meadow at Owl’s Hill, the Red Caboose Concert Series, Jazz on the Cumberland, Sunset Concerts at Carnton, the Third Thursdays on Main Concerts, Friday Nights Live in Murfreesboro, Big Band Dances at Centennial Park, Concerts at Arrington Vineyards, and (if you can believe it) so many more! So grab a blanket, pack your picnic basket and head out to hear some great music.
