Game 5, Round 2 of the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs

NASHVILLE – The Preds Party in the Park outdoor watch party scheduled for Game 5 of Round 2 of the 2018 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs on Saturday, May 5 will take place at Music City Walk of Fame Park, which is located across Fifth Avenue South from Bridgestone Arena, the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp announced today. The party, which is free and open to the public, will start at 7 p.m. in advance of the game getting underway at Bridgestone Arena at 8:30 p.m.

Viewing Party to Include 2 Screens, Food Trucks and More

The outdoor watch party will include two large screens. DJ NorStarr will entertain the crowd from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Food trucks will be on hand, kiosks will offer beer for purchase, and there will be team merchandise on sale. Hot dogs and bottled water will be available at family-friendly prices.

Street closures associated with the Preds Party include Fifth Avenue from Demonbreun to Broadway from 3:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 6 and Demonbreun’s westbound lane from Fourth Avenue to Fifth Avenue from 5 p.m. to 12 a.m. on Sunday, May 6.

The Nashville Predators are playing the Winnipeg Jets during Round 2 of the 2018 Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Nashville Predators are hosting viewing parties at Bridgestone Arena during the away games, including tonight, Thursday, May 3. If a Game 7 is necessary, an outdoor viewing party will take place for the home game on Thursday, May 10. Additional details will be available at www.visitmusiccity.com/nashvillepredators.

Large Screen, Food Trucks and More will be Available at Viewing Parties for Home Games

 NASHVILLE – The Preds are back in the playoffs and so are the parties. Preds fans will once again get to join fellow Smashvillians to cheer on the Nashville Predators at the Preds Party in the Park outdoor viewing parties, kicking off this Thursday, April 12 for Game 1 of the 2018 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs, the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp announced today. Viewing parties for home games for Round 1 will be hosted at Music City Walk of Fame Park, which is located across Fifth Avenue South from Bridgestone Arena.

The parties are free and open to the public. Music City Walk of Fame Park will activate three hours prior to game time. A large video screen will show the game feed. DJs will be on hand to entertain fans. Food trucks and hot dog vendors will be on site, and water, sodas, beer and team merchandise will be on sale. Attendees are invited to bring blankets and chairs. (See full list of House Rules in attachment.)

“We know from last year’s historic playoff run that Preds fans want to be near the excitement of Bridgestone Arena even if they don’t have tickets to be inside during home games,” said Butch Spyridon, president and CEO of the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp. “The spirit of fans really came through last year, and this is all about providing an outlet for them to watch together and celebrate their team.”
