An event every week that begins at 7:00 PM on Sunday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, repeating until September 22, 2019
After 30 years of “Shakespeare in the Park” performances at the bandshell in Nashville’s Centennial Park, the Nashville Shakespeare Festival is excited to relocate its Summer Shakespeare productions to the “Yard” in the new mixed-use development called oneC1TY. Attendees of Summer Shakespeare will enjoy the same high quality productions under the stars as in previous years, with improved amenities including garage parking, more restrooms, on-site restaurants, an enhanced “Royal Package” experience, and some of Nashville’s favorite food trucks. The six-week long festival will include productions of The Tempest and Pericles, preceded nightly by top-notch local musicians, scholarly talks, and Shakespearean performances by the children in Elf & Fairy Camp, starting at 6 pm. The suggested donation of $10 makes this event affordable for all, and the central location is fully accessible.
