November Tennessee Storytime @ Tennessee State Museum

For parents, grandparents and caregivers with young children ages 3-6, we invite you to join us for Tennessee Storytime. This is a great place for children to hear us read books related to our state’s people, culture, and history. Be sure to take advantage of some Tennessee-themed activities and crafts related to the books.
Storytime takes place in person in the Museum’s Children’s Gallery on Tuesday and Saturday mornings at 10:30 a.m.
In November, we will be reading the following books:
? Nov. 1 & 5: “The First Strawberries” by Joseph Bruchac, published by Vojtech
Puffin Books
? Nov. 8 & 12: “The Legend of the Indian Paintbrush” by Tomie dePaola, published by G.P. Putnam’s Sons
? Nov. 15 & 19: “10 Turkeys in the Road” by Brenda Reeves Sturgis, published by Scholastic
? Nov. 22 & 26: “Bear Says Thanks” by Karma Wilson, published by Simon & Schuster
? Nov. 29: “Fry Bread” by Kevin Noble, published by Roaring Brook Press
