Nashville Opera is coming soon to the Main Library! Saturday, February 16, 2019 with performance at 10:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. We are so excited to have the Nashville Opera on Tour coming to share their first bilingual children’s opera with our library families!  The Opera they will present is entitled — BEAR HUG/ABRAZO DE OSO, our first bilingual children’s opera, tells the story of four bears—all from different countries with different appearances and languages—who discover that we are all more alike than we are unalike!  With engaging plot twists and lively music from traditional Spanish operas (called zarzuela), BEAR HUG delivers a good time and a timely moral that our hearts are the same despite outward differences.
