Once again, Belle Meade is proud to host the Nashville Opera’s traveling family show! This year, they will present John Davies’ rollicking retelling of Red Riding Hood, Little Red’s Most Unusual Day! The Opera’s Education Director Anna Young has cleverly updated the show with an eco-friendly twist for 2020! Picture our hero, Forest Ranger Dudley, singing about caring for his beloved woodsy environment to the tune of The Barber of Seville’s famous “Largo al factotum!” It’s a story you know set to some of opera’s most famous tunes, complete with colorful sets and costumes and our Mary Ragland Emerging Artists.
