For parents, grandparents and caregivers with young children ages 3-6, we invite you to join us for Tennessee Storytime. This is a great place for children to hear Miss Morgan read books related to our state’s people, culture, and history. Be sure to take advantage of some Tennessee-themed activities and crafts related to the books.
Storytime takes place in person in the Museum’s Children’s Gallery on Saturday mornings at 10:30 a.m.
In May, we will be reading the following books:
May 7: “Llama Llama Home with Mama” by Anna Dewdney, published by Viking Books for Young Readers
May 14: “Lorraine” by Ketch Secor, published by Sourcebooks, Jabberwocky. Special guest Ketch Secor will read his book at 10:30 a.m. in the Children’s Gallery.
May 21: “Please Please the Bees” by Gerald Kelley, published by Albert Whitman & Company
May 28: “The Monster at the End of this Book” by Jon Stone, published by Golden Books
