The La Vergne Independence Day celebration is scheduled on July 4 every year at Veterans Memorial Park, located at 115 Floyd Mayfield Drive.

This free event includes fireworks, live music featuring Phoenix Rising, food vendors, and other fun activities for families.

Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and admission is FREE. Music starts at 6:00 p.m. 
 
Families are invited to bring blankets and lawn chairs, as well as their own picnic dinners. Visitors may also dine from a selection of food vendors that will be onsite. The spectacular fireworks show will begin at dark.
