Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration: Code Your Own Video Games with MakeCode Arcade, ages 8+

An event every week that begins at 6:00 PM on Monday, repeating until October 14, 2019


This free, 2-hour introductory coding workshop to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month is an engaging interactive way for students 8+ to understand more about how the opportunities computer science and coding open up for them. They will meet a local Hispanic/Latinx professional who works in technology; and find out that a successful career in technology is within their reach. They will also get a hands-on introduction to coding, creating their own project.

Don’t miss this opportunity to meet new role models, get inspired by the pros, and get a hands-on introduction to the world of coding.

Rachel is a Middle Tennessee native, born and raised in the Nashville area and having lived in Hendersonville, Murfreesboro, and Mount Juliet. She is mom to 3, step mom to 4 and Grandma to one (so far!)
