Fossil History of Tennessee

Did you know that the land where we now walk used to be underneath a shallow sea filled with megalodon, ammonites, and trilobites? We also had giant marine reptiles such as mosasaur and xiphactinus. Learn about the history of Tennessee as shown in our fossils. Reservations are required.
