Family Program: Is It a Fiddle or a Violin?
October 8, 2021 @ 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM
In Texas, it’s probably a fiddle. In Boston, it might be a violin. In Nashville, it depends. This hands-on program explores the differences and similarities between the two instruments through an interactive performance by professional musician Marie McGlone. Following the performance, participants can try the fiddle–or is it a violin? Come fiddle around with us! All ages. Taylor Swift Education Center. Limited seating. Included with museum admission. Free to members. Youth from Davidson County and counties that surround Davidson may enter the museum free as part of the Museum’s Community Counts initiative. Up to two accompanying adults receive 25 percent off admission. Proof of residency required. For more information, please visit Community Counts or inquire at the Box Office.
Masks are currently required for educational programs in the Museum’s theaters and classrooms. Read more about our COVID-19 policies and procedures.
