Many artists collaborate with instrument designers to create custom guitars, banjos, and more. Young designers will learn about a selection of the many instruments on display in the galleries. Afterwards, they will have an opportunity to personalize their own paper instruments. Unique custom pieces on view include Waylon Jennings’s leather-covered Telecaster electric guitar and Taylor Swift’s Swarovski crystal-encrusted Taylor acoustic guitar, to name a few. All ages.
