Creative Zone : Embellished Instruments

September 16, 2018 @ 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Young designers will personalize paper instrument designs inspired by the stylized instruments on display throughout the galleries. Unique pieces on view include Buck Owens’s red, white and blue Sears guitar, Glen Campbell’s 1979 twelve-string Ovation Viper guitar, and Taylor Swift’s bedazzled Taylor GS6 guitar, among many others. All ages. Taylor Swift Education Center. Included with museum admission. Free to museum members. ​


PROGRAM ADMISSION

Admission is included with Museum ticket* or Museum membership.

* Tennessee children ages 18 and under from Cheatham, Davidson, Robertson, Rutherford, Sumner, Williamson, and Wilson counties receive free museum admission as part of Community Counts: Museum Admission Program for Locals. Up to two accompanying adults receive 25 percent off admission. Proof of residency required. For more information, please visit Community Counts or inquire at the Museum Box Office.
