Community Pop-Up: Learn To Line Dance: Country Crossover At Nashville Public Library, Goodlettsville Branch

FreeThe Museum travels to the Nashville Public Library’s Goodlettsville Branch to demonstrate how country music has been influenced by rock & roll, pop, and hip-hop artists through the years. Program participants will learn dances to songs by artists who have influenced the sounds of country music. Dance professional Grace Nevin leads this beginning workshop in which participants will learn simple line dance choreography to songs by Elvis Presley, Taylor Swift, and Lil Nas X. Nevin teaches at the Nashville Ballet and has danced in music videos for many local recording artists. Recommended for ages 10 and up, but all are welcome. Presented in support of the Nashville Public Library’s Summer Reading Challenge. Takes place at Nashville Public Library, Goodlettsville Branch, 205 Rivergate Pkwy., Goodlettsville, TN, 37072. Free.
