While Union artillery played the decisive role in the Battle of Stones River, the cannoneers in gray also had something to say about the outcome. Watch as several cannons fire and listen to the challenges faced by the Confederate artillery and their ultimately unsuccessful efforts to overcome those obstacles and gain a war changing victory at Murfreesboro.
Programs featuring the stories of Confederate artillerymen will take place on Saturday at 11 AM and 1, 2 & 3 PM. Sunday will feature programs at 11 AM and 1 PM.
The battery camp will be open to the public at 9 AM each day. Visitors are encouraged to join the soldiers and civilians and ask them questions about life on and off the battlefield.
