This is our 37th Annual African Streets Festival! Our theme is Ubuntu- I Am Because You
The festival activities include the Art Village featuring local artist; Children’s Village (featuring arts and crafts, drumming, dance, storytelling and more). All can enjoy local artist, music and movement, spoken word, local history, drama, dance, physical fitness, games, language & literacy and health. Attendees can also enjoy Authentic African, American and other cuisines representing the Diaspora; an eclectic mix of live music and other performances, such as African, Reggae, Latin, R&B, Jazz, Gospel, Neo-Soul, Country, Blues, African Drumming; dance; spoken word; and 120 International Vendors.Celebrity Softball Gwill be held on Saturday, September 21 at 11:00 a.m. at Hadley Park’s Softball Field.

AACA goal is to provide more engaging, interactive educational areas and activities that will provide information and resources on the fascinating people, places and cultures of Africa and the African Diaspora, several of which are represented in the Nashville Metropolitan area
