One of the hardest parts of summertime is keeping the kids entertained.  Whether you work full time or are a stay at home parent, it’s really hard to fill all those long days with activities that will be fun and appropriate for all the kids in your family.  If you live in or near Williamson County, consider a Boredom Busters Field Trip this summer.  These events are sponsored by the Williamson County Parks Department. The groups are divided into 2 age categories – 6-10 years and 11-15 years.  There are no commitments for these trips.  Sign up for one or all of them.  Each trip has a different time schedule but childcare is available from 7:30AM – 5:30PM regardless.  This makes planning for working parents much easier.

Boredom Busters Field Trips

Beat the impending “I’m Bored!” by signing your kids up for one or more of WCPR’s Daytime Field Trips. Fun activities to keep them busy all day long without the commitment to a week-long camp program. All kids LOVE field trips and this year we have some awesome trips planned.  Some locations are local and others are to fantastic locations out of the area.  Trips will be supervised by WCPR Staff and transportation will be provided by Williamson County school buses.
