Tucked in a warehouse building near Cool Springs Mall, Above All Extreme Air Sports is more than a trampoline park. We visited on a Friday summer afternoon and both Moms and kids had a great time (and got some exercise!) unleashing our inner Ninja Warrior skills.
You can walk in or schedule a time to visit. We went on a summer weekday afternoon and it wasn’t crowded, but I imagine on the weekend it is a very popular place to visit so I’d book a time in advance HERE. There is a station as you enter to fill out a waiver, but you can save yourself some time and do that online HERE too.
Check In and Sign the Waiver
Once you have your waiver complete, you can pay at the front desk and they will give you a colored wristband based on the time you enter and if you purchase a one or two-hour flight. Jumpers are allowed into the arena in “flights” that take off every half hour. Each flight has a different colored band and every half hour you will hear an announcement to let each group know their time is up (i.e. Jumpers with blue bands, your time is up, please exit the arena). There are cubes where you can put your socks and shoes and you can also rent a locker for $2 to put your purse, phone or other valuables. The staff will keep the key to the locker for you behind the desk so you don’t have to worry about it falling out of your pocket while you jump. When your time starts one of the referees will go over the rules (you can find them all online HERE) and then you are free to play.
Obstacles and Foam Pits
The front part of Above All Extreme Air Sports has obstacles over foam pits. You can jump on a trampoline and flip, try to keep your balance on a “tightrope” and fly through the air on a trapeze. (see the video at the bottom for more). The next section has 2 basketball hoops where you can jump and dunk and a HUGE dodgeball court.
Giant Trampoline Floor
Like other trampoline parks, Above All has a large trampoline floor and an area just for “Little Flyers” (6 and Under). This area also has a rock wall over a big foam pit.
Ninja Warrior Course
Our kids’ favorite area was in the back of the arena. After years of watching American Ninja Warrior, they were finally able to try out their own skills!
Seating Area for Moms and Dads
If you want to sit and relax while your kids play, there were comfortable sofas in several different places throughout the arena. There is also a balcony where you can sit and see 90% of the play area. We saw lots of Moms enjoying books while their kids were well supervised by the referees that were posted in all the different areas of fun.
Above All was definitely a great place for both kids and adults. We were all tired and sweaty after 2 hours of jumping, climbing and playing. If you are looking for a place to spend an afternoon getting active with your family look no further.
