traditional American streamlined passenger train to Watertown! In Watertown there
are Easter Egg hunts for children of all ages. Bring your cameras so you can take

It’s an Opry Mills Easter!  Saturday April 5th from 12:00pm-2:00pm at the Entertainment Stage presented by Wholesale Inc.

Join other Kidgit Club Members for an exclusive Meet & Greet with The Easter Bunny, get an Easter themed face painting, do some Arts and Crafts and pick up some cool prizes.

If you are not a Kidgit Club Member, the fee is only $5 per child and it’s good for an entire year.  Visit Opry Mills Guest Services for more information.

 

Eggstravaganzoo at the Nashville Zoo – (Map)

  • This event is typically one of the Zoo’s busiest days. Nashville Zoo Members enjoy free parking, free admission and access to a separate members-only line at the gate. If you are considering purchasing or renewing a membership, we urge you to do this in advance online at our Membership page. A printed OR digital copy of the e-confirmation (received minutes after purchase) and a valid ID are all that you need to take part in the eggceptional activities!
  • Eggstravaganzoo is a rain or shine event.

Egg Hunts
Nashville Zoo will be distributing over 30,000 plastic eggs for children to find and redeem for prizes. Because these egg hunts are about having fun and going wild and not about the number of eggs collected, ALL egg-hunting children will receive an egg-cellent prize pack.

Egg hunts will take place on the Zoo’s Festival Field, located behind the gift shop. Everyone is encouraged to arrive at least an hour before the egg hunt times. No reservations are required for egg hunts. The times are
2 & under……10 a.m. OR 12:30 p.m.*
3 years……….10:30 a.m. OR 1 p.m.*
4-5 years……11 a.m. OR 1:30 p.m.*
6-7 years……11:30 a.m. OR 2 p.m.**
8-10 years…..Noon OR 2:30 p.m**
Please one egg hunt per child.
*Parents can accompany child onto field. PLEASE NOTE: The 2 and under egg hunt is only for ages where children are old enough to retrieve their own eggs.
**Parents DO NOT accompany children onto field. PLEASE NOTE: We ask that all parents stay on the side of the field to ensure everyone’s enjoyment and that everyone can keep their children in sight.

Zoo-Wide “Golden” Egg Hunt
Join in a hunt for larger “golden” eggs hidden throughout the Zoo. These select eggs that can be redeemed for a special prize! Limit one “golden” egg per person.

Animal Egg Hunts
Egg hunting at the Zoo isn’t just for the kids. Watch as the animals seek out treats of their own. Don’t miss a chance to see a primate discover a fruit filled egg or a meerkat dashing over to take a bite out of an egg filled with mealworms.

Bunny Games
Do the bunny hop, play a round of hopscotch and enter the egg and spoon races! Games are free to play and for the purpose of fun; no finish line prizes will be awarded.

Gardens, Gardeners and Other Merriment
Stop by the Grassmere Historic Home’s garden to smell the roses and get some great gardening tips from the Master Gardeners.
Face painting will be available for an additional fee near the egg hunt field.

Bunny Cafe is located at the Jungle Terrace tent pavilion with a view of the egg hunt field and up-close visits with the Easter Bunny. Offering two meals throughout the day, this is the place to eat with your family at Eggstravaganzoo! Choose breakfast or lunch and make Eggstravaganzoo a truly memorable experience.

  • The Easter Bunny will be in the Bunny Café for the duration of lunch service with periodic breaks. Please note that there will be an Easter Bunny shaking hands before each Egg Hunt, but the Easter Bunny in the Bunny Café is stationary and will be available for your individual pictures.
  • This is the perfect chance to bring your camera and take your picture with the Easter Bunny.
